On December 7th from 10am-1pm the Scituate Animal Shelter will be hosting a holiday open house with a special guest - Santa Claus!
Scituate & Cohasset Newcomers & Neighbors will be joining in on the festivities. Come sip on festive refreshments and take a tour of the facilities for free! You can meet the current shelter residents and maybe even find your new, four-legged best friend. Already have a furry friend? Bring them along! All species of leashed pets are welcome if they are vaccinated and comfortable in a crowded, noisy environment.
The best part - Holiday portraits with Santa! For a $20 donation that benefits the Shelter, you and all your family members (including well-behaved pets) can take a photo with Santa. You will receive digital photos that you can use for holiday cards, gifts or keepsakes.
Members are encouraged to bring donations of supplies for the shelter. A SCNN member will be set up at a table near the entrance to greet other members and collect your donations (or you can provide them directly to the shelter). Here is a list of high-need shelter items below:
