This month we're reading KISS, MARRY, KILL by book club co-chair Lori Goldstein (under Lori Gold). We'll be meeting on Thursday, August 20 at Lori's house at 120 Preston Terrace, Marshfield (see directions below).

A reminder: book club is a BYOB event.

Looking ahead? We'll be celebrating the last vestiges of summer with our September book club pick, EVERY SUMMER AFTER by Carley Fortune (also a Prime Video series), September 10 on Peggotty Beach. We'll be reading JAMES by Percival Everett for our October 15 meeting and STRANGERS by Belle Burden in November.

Please submit your book suggestions and votes on our google doc (newly updated with our July 2026 group recommendations). In addition there is another doc where you can sign up to host for any month in the rest of this calendar year!

Note: There is ample parking at the property, which is tiered and situated between Preston Terrace and Grandview in Marshfield Hills (near Bridgewaye, behind Humarock). There are three spots in a paved area above the house on Preston Terrace and several spots in the gravel area below on Grandview. Lori and Marc will help direct parking but call or text Lori at 617-791-4409 for assistance. Some GPS systems try to take you down a road that is a dead end. It's a good idea to look at a map beforehand!

Join us for a fun beginner-friendly 3-hour Mahjong introduction with instructor Nicole! Cost is $65 per person and includes all materials.

We are looking for hosts and interested players. Groups work best with 4–8 people per event, and if there’s enough interest, we may schedule additional sessions. Please register on the SCNN event list and pay with the link below to reserve your spot:
